Looking to pry the studio out of its comfort zone, the animation team at 2veinte in Buenos Aires takes on a new in-house project they describe as a “dramatic adult film filled with action and psychedelic vibes”.

EP Agustín Valcarenghi: “2veinte is already well known for its design and animation style filled with bold cameras and action-packed scenes. ARA, Ballad of a Simple Man is intended as a piece to help the studio take off as a mature studio and tackle more serious topics with a more dramatic tenor.

“The film is the story of a broken person finding revenge and redemption in a new time and place, a tale of fighting, obscurity, loneliness, and vengeance.”
