Eoin Duffy & Ryan Reynolds Want You to Know Christine Sinclair is “Kind of a Big Deal”

Despite her Olympic gold medal and holding the record for the most goals scored in international soccer (for men or women), I’m willing to bet you have never heard of Canadian athlete Christine Sinclair.

With a VO from fellow Canuck (and rabid sports fanatic) Ryan Reynolds, director Eoin Duffy and the animation crew at Belly in Vancouver set out to change that with this emotion-packed profile film for British Columbia’s Knowledge Network.

“Moving between the roar of the world stage and the quiet moments behind it, the film reveals how one of sport’s most unassuming superstars left one of its loudest legacies.”

Eoin Duffy: “This intimate animated documentary short explores Christine Sinclair’s quiet leadership, humility, and determination that helped carry Team Canada from underdogs to Olympic gold.
