Giant Ant Tells the “Tales of Mark Eting” for Optimizely

Discovering new animated work from Vancouver story tellers Giant Ant is always a happy occasion, and this hero compilation of four mini-brand films for AI digital experience platform Optimizely, is no exception.

From Giant Ant: “Optimizely invited us into the world of Mark Eting, the planet’s best marketer, all built on the work of Berlin-based illustrator Andrey Kasay. So we put on some corny jazz, grabbed every hat we own, and wrote, boarded, designed and animated these strange little spots.

“We leaned into pushed perspectives and distorted forms to add to the weirdness, and to get Mark into position in the fewest steps possible. It plays into the abstraction of the portal doors and the multiplication glitches. Smooth and slow.”
