The crew at Tomorrow Bureau in London push past the idea of a director’s cut to create a self-initiated full extension of their commissioned launch film for the new Renault R5 Turbo 3E, an all-electric, high-performance mini super car.

From tomorrow Bureau: “In 1980, the Renault 5 Turbo was the first French car with a turbo charged petrol engine, delivering 160 hp. In 2025, Renault set out to give the legend a boost.
 

“As a development of the launch work, the team explored freely with pacing, narrative, and style, to further speak to the model’s fiercely enjoyable, supercharged combination of motor sport passion, innovation, and performance.”

 
“Delivering precision performance with a dual 555 hp electric power train, the car introduced extreme customization options for a limited edition, tailor made release of 1,980 cars. As long term creative partners, we joined Renault Group in launching this release: the R5 Turbo 3E.

“Now, we’ve expanded on our work to pay homage to the iconic French classic. Drawing inspiration from its rich graphic heritage, we celebrate the R5’s enduring appeal and timeless design.
