Elastic CD Nadia Tzuo, who took home a 2024 Emmy Award for her Shōgun TV series titles (featured in Stash 167), turns her many design and motion talents to advertising in this dramatic and richly detailed work for Fiji Water.
Nadia Tzuo: “We had a lovely creative collaboration with The Wonderful Company to create a fresh look that reimagines the journey of Fiji water. We love how the bottle’s iconic silhouette becomes a frame through which the entire story unfolds.
“It’s a poetic invitation to see nature not as a backdrop, but as the sculptor itself.”
“This idea gives us a rich creative canvas. It’s a poetic invitation to see nature not as a backdrop, but as the sculptor itself. The sequence unfolds in four chapters, each scene celebrating a unique element of the water’s story from sky to soil.
“Each of the scenes is tailored to embrace the nature of the Fiji island and carefully hand-picked to build the shape of the iconic Fiji bottle. The challenge was finding the balance between the bottle’s shape and natural elements, and making the transitions flow in harmony. The look is achieved with a combination of CG passes and compositing using Cinema 4D and Nuke.”
