Miles Hellyer & Chalk Company Keep Design at Play for MADE

Following on their recent abstracted work for producer/DJ Air Max ’97, director Miles Hellyer and Chalk Company in Sydney, pivot their CG skills to the very real products of UK-based furniture brand MADE.

Miles Hellyer: “Making great design accessible is at the core of what MADE does. They work with in-house and independent designers across the world to produce bold, vibrant and stylish pieces for the home, at an affordable price point.

“The sequences don’t just focus on the end product, but also the design process, with elements expanding, weaving, and inflating into their final form.”

“Working with their creative team, we crafted a suite of high quality CG stills, flexible-use motion assets, and product films for use in their ‘Design at Play’ campaign.

“Our focus in creating these assets was to match the fun, friendly, and energetic nature of the designs. The sequences don’t just focus on the end product, but also the design process, with elements expanding, weaving, and inflating into their final form.”

Several stacks of blue and cream plates are arranged on a tan surface with dark diagonal lines, capturing a moment reminiscent of the playful artistry seen in the MADE Design at Play brand film by Miles Hellyer & Chalk Company. Some plates appear to be falling or mid-air above the stacks, adding a sense of whimsical motion to the composition. Frame from Stash Magazine article.
