Adrian Villagomez & Mathematic “Finish It” for The Terry Fox Foundation

Following up on last year’s emotional spot for The Terry Fox Foundation, Toronto agency Diamond turn to Fela director Adrian Villagomez and the CG animation crew at Mathematic for the next installment of their Finish It campaign.

Jordan Cohen and Mark Holden, GCDs at Diamond: From the beginning, we knew this chapter of Finish It needed to feel different. Animation gave us the freedom to build a world that feels as warm and familiar as 1980 but still belongs to today.

The film begins with a simple scene of Terry on the road and slowly opens up into something far bigger to demonstrate the impact of Terry’s legacy. From oranges to posters to the order of each researcher’s appearance, we filled this world with details and Easter eggs connected back to Terry’s story.
