Bulgarian director/animator Simona Mehandzhieva, who graduated with the Narrative Animation class of 2020 from the Royal College of Art, applies her vibrant and idiosyncratic style to a piece for Denmark-based space-pop duo Moon Panda.

Currently working in London, Mehandzhieva shares a writing credit on Laura Jayne Hodkin’s breakout RCA grad film Hot and Tasty and describes herself as “a loud, awkward Sagittarius, who grew up glued to the screen watching wacky cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls, Cow and Chicken, and Scooby Doo.”
