Paris-based Monumental FX Expands Into US Market in Partnership With Modern Post

Lovely (and perfectly timed) new in-house work from the motion team at Ordinary Folk in Vancouver and UK-based designer/animator Guillaume Roux, looking back at summer and it’s sunny vibes from a Rio de Janeiro perspective.
Jorge R. Canedo Estrada, founder/CD at Ordinary Folk: We love finding ways to collaborate with people we like, and we also love the Brazilians on our team. So when we got the chance to work with Guillaume Roux and heard he’s a big Rio fan, it didn’t take much convincing to make a project about summer in that wonderful city.
The heat, the Copacabana sidewalk waves, Dois Irmãos, a few capoeira moves: anything we could do to show some love to all the Cariocas, Brazilians, and summer lovers out there. We also asked our favorite composer, Ambrose Yu, to get a berimbau and go find his inner Brazilian. He delivered (as always).
