Forty months ago Canadian director/animator Nathan Boey initiated an epic exquisite corpse-like project involving 40 animators (including himself) and three simple rules:

1. Complete a three-second animation of a ball (in a month)
2. Pass it to someone in another country
3. They continue the animation
