CD Oleg Lyakhov and theoutpoint team make their Stash debut with this spec brand film for GE, using a jet engine “to explore forms of engineering as art and highlight its beauty and strength through light and shadow.”
Oleg Lyakhov in Bali, Indonesia: “We created the piece after noticing a lack of emotionally driven motion design in the world of engineering visuals. Most content felt overly technical or dry, so we wanted to explore what happens when precision meets emotion — when engineering is visualized as something almost alive.
“The jet engine becomes a symbolic core around which forces of motion, data, and energy spiral, visualized through simulations and design-driven sequences.”
“From a creative point of view, we went into abstraction and metaphor rather than literal machinery. The jet engine becomes a symbolic core around which forces of motion, data, and energy spiral, visualized through simulations and design-driven sequences.
“The challenge was to express something invisible — like airflow and innovation — in a way that feels, beautiful, and fast. We built everything in Cinema 4D and Houdini, focusing on airflow, motion, and abstract energy systems, with Redshift helping us through look development.”
