Before a recent jaunt to his local Department of Motor Vehicles, director/animator Doug Alberts could have just griped and complained like the rest of us but chose instead to spin the “personalities, funny smells, and paperwork” into a smile-inducing song and music video.

Doug Alberts: “We all love the DMV. I was dreading going to the DMV to take care of a quick title transfer and in my dread, I decided to write a song that highlighted my favorite things about the trip to come.

“Noodle explored several styles and discovered this sketch-style complimented the humor of the song a little too well. So here’s to Doris, Ilene, Floor Stain, and Coffee Bean. We love you DMV, you’ll always have a place in our hearts.”

Alberts, who released another sweet personal film called Beep Boop earlier this year, is represented for commercial work by Hornet.
