Following their debut collaboration on the Droplet pocket watch, Hublot re-teams with artist Daniel Arsham for the very limited-edition Splash wristwatch revealed in this sleek and sensuous launch film by London’s Zünc Studio.
From the team at Zünc Studio: “The MP-17 Meca-10 Arsham Splash Titanium Sapphire is a wearable sculpture as much as it is a feat of watchmaking. We were asked to work on the launch visuals, including this hero film and large-scale on-site moving visuals for the launch event in Singapore.
“From the quiet anticipation of ripples to a dramatic crown splash, we found water (rendered in CGI of course) an endless source of inspiration.”
“The design of the watch is inspired by the movement of water. This informed the narrative of the film, from the quiet anticipation of ripples to a dramatic crown splash, we found water (rendered in CGI of course) an endless source of inspiration.
“Mesmerizing forms and movements were captured alongside the watch itself, to create a reveal film celebrating the watch as well as the substance that inspired its organic forms.”
