Rascally Raccoons Light Up the Holidays for Ambient Press

To celebrate an eventful year, directing duo Jake Wegesin and Frankie Principe at Ambient Press release a pair of mischievous raccoons into a wintery night for some lighthearted electrical adventures.

Jake Wegesin: “2025 has been a year of preparation and growth for Ambient Press. Joining forces with a second director (Frankie Principe), securing representation with Bella, and planning for upcoming short film projects. We wanted to wrap up the year with a quick creative exercise and landed on this idea of two little raccoons who end up bringing our logo to life.

“Our aim was to simple, make a fun video that brings a smile to people as the year comes to an end.”

“Like with all internal projects, resources were the main concern. Without any budget, and with other projects running at the same time, we had to be smart about how we approached this production. Our aim was to simple, make a fun video that brings a smile to people as the year comes to an end.

“In every project, we end up with a stack of concept art, ideas, sketches, an scribbles that all define the vision for the final piece but rarely manage to see the light of day. Below are some of our favorite pieces, the very beginnings of Tommy and Tasker, our protagonists.”
