“Wisher” TV Series Main Titles by Flatwhite Motion

Flatwhite Motion, the design studio with offices in Sydney and Qingdao, China, sets the tone for the Chinese drama series “Wisher” with a beautifully lit CG sequence touching on themes of technology, manipulation, and fate.

Creative Director Max Zhang at Flatwhite Motion: “We came up with our original storyboard around the ideas of the butterfly and a domino effect.

“The relationship between technology and people, the Wisher game between the past and the present, the struggle between data and entities, and the conflict between the network and the individual are what we want to express through this main title.

“Also, the main characters in this TV series are set as the dolls in the claw crane, showing the sense of fate that anyone can be chosen and manipulated.

“Starting from the biological butterfly and ending with the mechanical butterfly, we were hoping to not only bring a kind of beauty to the audience but also deliver a sense of drama hidden in the crisis.”
