Paul Jordan & Friends Run the Run for Mental Health

Paul Jordan, a creative partner at adam&eveTBWA in London, spent a year wrangling 18 animators and 12 prodcos for this massive labor of love, a film for World Mental Health Day in collaboration with UK charity Sport In Mind.

Paul Jordan: This campaign is deeply personal. Running has given me so much over the years including space, clarity, and a way to feel more like myself. Creating this film felt like a way of giving something back. I see it as a love letter to running, and a way of repaying what I think of as a kind of ‘life debt’.

The project deploys a delightful spectrum of motion techniques from animators Kristian Andrews, Andy Baker Studio, Danny Boyle, Jack Brown, Ingi Erlingsson, Anthony Farquhar-Smith, Victor Haegelin, HouHou, Alex Jenkins, MegaComputeur, Clement Morin, Ewan Jones Morris, Honor Price, Santiago Carrasquilla, Alva Skog, Chris Ullens, Hannah Lau Walker, and Dan Woodger.

Sponsored by nutritional supplement brand Berocca, the film celebrates the mental health benefits of running and the launch of Sport In Mind’s 100K Your Way Challenge, “giving people across the UK a way to get moving and support the charity’s work”.

The lyrics, also written by Paul Jordan, are performed by UK rapper/producer Genesis Elijah.
