XK Studio Works “Kinetic Clay” into AI Visualization for Google Deepmind

Following on the recent CG explorations of Martina Stifinger and Wes Cockx, directors Alexa Sirbu and Lukas Vojir at XK studio in London release two intriguing visual experiments called “Kinetic clay” and “AGI Lands” for Google Deepmind.

Alexa Sirbu and Lukas Vojir: “The first film, ‘Kinetic Clay’ poetically depicts how artists may creatively collaborate with AGI in the future. AI can offer new points of view, speed up the process and lead to new territories, while we always remain the driving force.

“The two actors [human and AGI] continuously build upon and inspire each other’s movements and outputs, bringing to life a hypnotic, ever-evolving sculpture.”

“Starting off with a human hand manipulating a block of digital clay, we witness an interactive dance between human, AGI, and the harmonious rhythm between them. The two actors continuously build upon and inspire each other’s movements and outputs, bringing to life a hypnotic, ever-evolving sculpture.

“The second sequence, ‘AGI Lands’ abstracts different areas where AGI has the potential of aiding and enriching our lives such as science, biology, climate change and environment, engineering, and computing.

“These areas are represented by sculptural virtual environments into which AGI agents can roam, analyze, connect, learn and perform tasks and solve challenges. They aim to portray the infinite possibilities and true ‘general’ intelligence that has no limit or end.”
