Åsa Lucander Imagines “There’s a Big Bad Wolf” Close By for BBC’s Blue Peter

Aardman director Åsa Lucander, whose warm and approachable animation styles are on full display here and here, reteams with BBC’s venerable kids’ show Blue Peter, for a new short film about the power of childhood imagination.

Åsa Lucander: “I’m incredibly proud to have had the chance to direct the short film There’s a Big Bad Wolf based on a poem by 10-year-old Phoebe, the winner of Blue Peter’s Amazing Authors competition.”

You can watch the previous Lucander/Aardman/Blue Peter animation project, that premiered for world leaders at the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow in 2021, right here.
